In order to better serve its Volunteer Staff and the community, Villa Finale maintains a Volunteer Council to assist with volunteer recruitment, outreach, and the planning of volunteer social events.

Join Villa Finale's Volunteer Staff!Volunteering is fun and rewarding! Villa Finale offers a variety of Volunteer Staff positions for people with varying talents and availability.
Would you like to join us? It's simple!
1. Download, fill out and return a volunteer application. You may mail it, fax or return it electronically to the email address indicated on the form. Click here to download an application.
2. A member of our staff will contact you to answer your questions.
3. We will schedule a one-hour, one-on-one orientation with you. During your orientation, you will receive a volunteer manual, become familiarized with site operations, receive any additional training materials, have your name badge photograph taken, and reserve a time for a guided tour. It is that simple!
Folks wishing to lead guided tours will receive a Villa Finale Guide Manual which is a five-week, self-taught course. The course is easily completed with tour observations and one-on-one help from our staff.
Get involved at Villa Finale -- something for everyone!*
- Guide (for guided tours): Lead regular and special guided tours for visitors of all ages. Guides are required to complete and pass a five-week, self-taught guide training (staff will always provide assistance as needed).
- Tour Assistants: Follow Guide-led tours of Villa Finale to provide extra security and assist guests with disabilities. Tour Assistants must submit to a background check and attend some sessions of Guide Training.
- Tour Staff for self-guided tours: Beginning April 2, 2013, Villa Finale will be adding self-guided tours of the first floor to its operations. Be on-hand to greet people inside the house and answer general questions. (This is a sit-down position and is great for people with limited mobility. Minimal training is required.)
- Grounds: Assist Buildings and Grounds Manager with the general care and maintenance of gardens and buildings.

All Volunteer Staff must attend an annual Safety and Security Overview. This is mandatory for all Volunteer Staff.

Villa Finale will host special Continuing Education sessions throughout the year which may be mandatory for some volunteer positions.

Some volunteer work areas may require additional training – training time and commitment levels vary for each individual work area.

All new volunteers must attend Volunteer Orientation.

Villa Finale asks its Volunteer Staff to serve a minimum of 25 hours per year, and full-time students 15 hours per year. We also offer academic credit. (Please specify this option if filling out a volunteer application.)
