Tours of Villa Finale
Walter Mathis owned the home at 401 King William Street, which he called Villa Finale in honor of it being his last residence, for nearly forty years. During that time, he enjoyed giving tours of his home and gardens to family, friends and guests. After undergoing a modern restoration, Villa Finale will once again open its doors for public tours.
THE GUIDED TOUR
Guided tours of Villa Finale are hosted by one of our interpetive Guides who will lead your experience through the 6,500 square-foot home and its collection of fine and decorative arts (self-guided tours of the first floor only will be available beginning April 2, 2013. Please scroll down for more information).* Tour size is kept to a maximum of six persons to allow for an informal and personal visit just as guests of Walter Mathis enjoyed for nearly forty years. All tours are approximately one hour in length.

Wednesday - Saturday:
Guided tours: 10:00am & 2:30pm
Self-guided tours (first floor ONLY): 11:15am - 2:00pm

Admissions sold at Villa Finale's Carriage House effective April 2, 2013

Villa Finale accepts, cash, personal checks, and all major credit cards (note: $75 fee for all returned checks)
Reservations for guided tours welcomed - all tours subject to availability. All bags and cameras must be left in secured lockers at the Carriage House.

Guests with Special Needs
Villa Finale's first floor is accessible to persons with limited mobility.
For tours in American Sign Language or to make arrangements for guests with visual impairments, please call Villa Finale's Manager of Public Programs with at least 72 hours advance notice during regular business hours:

Villa Finale accepts group tours of 6 persons or more. Due to occupancy restrictions, larger groups will be divided into smaller groups upon arrival to the site.
Its is recommended for all groups to call with at least three weeks advance notice to make reservations due to availability of dates and times. (All dates and times are subject to availability)
Group Rate
$7.50 per person for groups of six or more.
Group Tour Payment Information
All group tours of Villa Finale require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total group price. In order to guarantee staffing for group tours, all deposits are due upon receipt.
Final payment must be made prior to your group's scheduled tour time.
